We had a great turn out for our September “Glass” Dinner and were delighted to be joined by the Masters of the following companies:<\/p>\n

Bakers, Firefighters, Horners and Pattenmakers.<\/p>\n

A selection of the samples<\/a> received for the Master’s Commission Competition<\/a> were on display during the Reception and sold to support other glass artists raising over \u00a31500.<\/p>\n

The Winner of the Competition was announced by Sharon Solomons<\/strong> of specialist fine art shippers, Art Logistics Limited.\u00a0 The Competition’s Finalists were invited to attend the dinner along with a selection of the other glass artists.<\/p>\n

The Dinner was preceded by Common Hall during which various Committee Chairman updated the Livery on key aspects of their Committees’ activities.<\/p>\n

At the end of Common Hall, the Master presented Col Jacqui Fogerty, Commander of the City of London and NE Sector Army Cadets with the Company’s shield for the Mess.<\/p>\n

Our Guests were welcomed by Liveryman, Ron Brickley and our Keynote Speaker was Adrian Waddingham CBE<\/a> formerly Sheriff of the City of London (2013-14) who was accompanied by his wife Angela.<\/p>\n
