On 19 June 2015, I was Jailed & Bailed at The Tower of London in aid of the British Red Cross.<\/p>\n

The day started at 10.30am with coffee in the Mansion House but I wasn’t long before the Sheriffs arrived:<\/p>\n

“Stand up,” Master Glass Seller said Sheriff Parmley, quickly adding “Oh, you are standing up.”<\/p>\n

“It has been brought to my attention,” he continued, “that you are in cahoots with a Burmese cat who is causing chaos and confusion across the Square Mile as he roams the streets impersonating the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor, Alderman Alan Yarrow!\u201d<\/p>\n

He even suggested that I was leading the Women in the City<\/a> astray.<\/p>\n

After we’d all been arrested we were taken from Mansion House to The Tower and were served a hearty lunch with Champagne courtesy of Pol Roger.<\/p>\n
