I was admitted to the Freedom of the City of London on 27 June 1991, by order of the Court of Common Council in July 1990, when Sir Alexander Michael Graham GBE was Lord Mayor.
Livery Company Connections
Once the Court of the Worshipful Company of Glass Sellers agreed to admit women, I applied to become a member and was clothed in the Livery in November 1993 . I was invited to become a Court Assistant in 2008 and, having served as Master’s Assistant, Renter and Prime Wardens, I was elected Master in September 2014 and installed in the December.
The theme for my year was Innovate | Communicate.
It was an enormous privilege to represent the Company within and beyond the City during 2015 and you can read HERE all about my amazing year.
I was the second female Master and the 100th female Master across all the Livery Companies.
